Nicole Meyers
Founder & Managing Attorney,
Principle Employment Law, APC
Nicole Meyers is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Principle
Employment Law, APC, where she represents employees in
discrimination, retaliation, and harassment cases. She serves on the
Board of Governors of the California Employment Lawyers
Association (CELA) and received CELA’s Committee Service Award
for her contributions to the organization. Nicole also serves as Vice
Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for the
Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and sits on the Board
of the John M. Langston Bar Association. She has been named a
Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2024 and 2025.
Hon. Cherol Nellon
Judge, Los Angeles County Superior Court
Judge Cherol J. Nellon was appointed to the Los Angeles Superior
Court in 2018 and is currently assigned to the civil division,
presiding over an Independent Calendar court at the Stanley Mosk
Courthouse. She previously served as a Commissioner for the Court
from 2016 to 2018 and, before that, worked as a Deputy Public
Defender in the Los Angeles Public Defender’s Office. Judge Nellon
chairs the Court’s Bench Success program for new judges, is a
founding member of the Association of African American California
Judicial Officers (AAACJO), a past chair and founding member of its
Political Action Committee, and a member of the California Judges
Association
Hon. Bobbi Tillmon
Judge, Los Angeles Superior Court
Judge Bobbi Tillmon has served on the Los Angeles County Superior
Court for 30 years. She began her judicial career as a Commissioner in
1994 and was elected and appointed as a Judge in 2006. Over the
years, she has presided over a range of assignments, including family
law, criminal, civil, and the Homeless Community Court. Judge Tillmon
is a founding member and the first President of the Association of African
American California Judicial Officers, and a life member of numerous bar
organizations including the National Bar Association, Langston Bar
Association, and Black Women Lawyers of Los Angeles. She currently
hears civil trial matters at the Santa Monica Courthouse. In recognition of
her service, she was named Judge of the Year and inducted into the
John M. Langston Bar Association Hall of Fame—one of the
organization’s highest honors.
